MICROGAMING STASTISTICS
![]() |
Microgaming had its peak in 2005 where it was the third largest network in the world.
Unibet joined the network at a critical moment in September 2006, which was the same time as UIGEA was approved.
The UIGEA proved to have a negative effect on the network formerly heavily promoted by The Gaming Club & Royal Vegas Poker.
You can find a lot more information about its history in our Microgaming Poker review.
- Green stats: Ladbrokes Poker was for many years a stand alone poker room using the Microgaming software. Ladbrokes did not accept US players and was considered one the biggest and best European poker rooms. Ladbrokes merged tables with Microgaming Network March 2009.
- Yellow stats: Microgaming's traffic without counting Unibets & Ladbrokes' private tables
- Blue stats: The total amount of players including Ladbrokes and Unibets private tables
For a while the future looked grim for Microgaming as the rake back war was hurting the network. Strict anti-rakeback rules is what we believe saved the network together with Unibet & Ladbrokes.
Microgaming is overall in a healthy shape and continues to show good results during the 'poker recession' (2009-2012) .
