The Finnish owned poker room Club4Aces was purchased by iGame Ltd in November 2011 and migrated with 24hPoker which had been acquired by iGame two years prior to this event.
Finnish people are known for being silent and when the Finnish poker room Club4Aces was sold to another Finnish gaming group it was done without any drama or mentioning in the media.
24hPoker announced on its own site that it had acquired Club4Aces which had specialized itself in a VIP program for online poker tournament players which had a large crowd of Finnish players at the EMOP events taking place in Malta, Tallinn and other countries in Europe annually.
We are unaware whether Club4Aces got shares in iGame or if it was a cash transaction.
We do know that this again strengthened iGame's grip of Entraction's player pool. iGame, with Pokerihuone & 24hPoker, has merged with NoIQPoker making the company the single largets operator on the IGT Poker network.
We know from our sources that iGame has previously been in discussion with Entraction in attempt to acquire the network but the two parties could not agree on a price. iGame hold shares in the network and has voting power on the board so it is considered a very organized and intelligent poker company.
Entraction was sold to IGT in June 2011 hence renamed to IGT Poker Network. Click here to read more: IGT acquired by Entraction
